Lee Dong Wook and Song Ji Hyo have a great bonding time on 'Running Man' - Yahoo Philippines News

The January 5th episode of SBS TV variety program ‘Running Man’ was the first part of a culinary competition, where the members were scattered all over country as they bond with their guest partners to seek out key ingredients. The pairings were Yoo Jae Suk – Park Soo Hong, Ji Suk Jin – Kim Kyung Ho, HaHa – INFINITE’s Sungkyu, Kim Jong Kook – Song Kyung Ah, Lee Kwang Soo – John Park, Song Ji Hyo – Lee Dong Wook, and Gary – Rainbow’s Kim Jae Kyung.

Lee Dong Wook and Song Ji Hyo were of the same age, and had worked previously on a drama together, so they had a warm embrace when they met at the start of the episode. They also had a meal of raw fish slices at the beach, and showed their good relationship with each other. They also had a friendly sandcastle building competition, where Lee Dong Wook grabbed hold of Song Ji Hyo’s collar in jest, and it made for a really hilarious scene.

Lee Dong Wook said, “Was this premeditated right from the start? Romance? I am here in Pohang because of you. I quit. Don’t talk about memories.” But Song Ji Hyo didn’t mind his annoyance, and said that his forfeit for losing was to piggyback her to the car.

In the end, Lee Dong Wook did piggyback Song Ji Hyo, and the latter even sang Turbo’s ‘December’. Lee Dong Wook then grumbled, “The lyrics are wrong, and my pants keep falling off.” Although Song Ji Hyo’s regular partner on the program, Gary, was coupled with Rainbow’s Jaekyung, Gary was still pining for Song Ji Hyo in a phone call, and left fans of the ‘Monday Couple’ heartbroken.

Part 2 of the actual culinary competition will be aired next Sunday (December 12th).
