This could the be the start of a beautiful friendship.
When Psy, walked out onstage at the 2013 Billboard Music Awards in Las Vegas on Sunday, he was scheduled to just be a presenter, but host Tracy Morgan had a different idea.
"I am here to introduce to you one of the most exciting singers and dancers of all time," Psy said, introducing a performance by Chris Brown.
"He is literally..."
Suddenly the unmistakable opening strains of the rapper's current hit "Gentlemen" filled the MGM Grand Garden Arena.

Dressed in a yellow suit and sunglasses like the one worn by South Korean comedian Yoo Jae Suk in Psy's music videos for "Gentleman" and "Gangnam Style, Morgan bounded onto the stage, challenging the King of K-pop to a good old fashioned dance-off.
Although initially appearing to be a bit taken aback, Psy quickly rose to the occasion, flaunting the dance moves that launched him to international superstardom.
The crowd let out a huge cheer.
Clearly sensing he had met his match, the "Saturday Night Live" alum enthusiastically embraced his dance partner.
"I love you Psy," said the former "30 Rock" star.
"You show that even guys with a little bit of meat on their bones can be sex symbols.
K-pop's number one "Gentleman" beamed at Morgan's antics.
"And now to show you what it's like when thin people dance, here tonight, Chris Brown," the host continued.
Psy couldn't even wait for the awards ceremony to start before he started stirring up the crowd, according to Billboard Magazine.
Reporter Phil Gallo was baffled at the Oppa's decision to use the public bathroom in the theater shortly before the Billboard Awards began.
Gallo included the incident in his roundup of "13 Things You Didn't See On TV," under the heading "Gentleman's Room."
"For some unknown reason Psy chose to go to the public men's room minutes before the show started," he wrote.
"The line to get in the men's room was no longer people needing to use the facilities--they were autograph and photograph seekers."
Other non-televised highlights included star's difficulty with static electricity on 2013 Billboard Awards blue carpet and A-ha vocalist, Morten Harket on-hand for a performance with Pitbull and Christina Aguilera, examining the enduring power of his band's 1980s landmark single, "Take On Me."
"It's been treated to a lot of different versions over the last 25 years--a punk version, heavy metal, death metal, now Pitbull," Harket said of the song, most recently sampled in the hip hop hit "Feel This Moment."
"It's a resilient bugger. The surprise is how it caught on again."
