EXO-K recently did a photo shoot for fashion magazine ‘HIGH CUT’, where they showed their free spirit, and natural youthful charms.
In the photos, the members are seen dancing, screaming, and running in front of the viewfinder. They also managed to perfectly carry off the thick jackets, and showcased their stylish boy group look.
In the accompanying interview, the members revealed about their goals and their desire to record ‘Infinity Challenge’. With regards to the group becoming the first artist in 12 years to sell more than 700,000 copies of its first album, Chanyeol said, “We have to learn to surpass that. We want to be like Jo Sung Mo and Kim Gun Mo sunbaes, in that people will still remember us 10 or 20 years down the road. That is our dream.”
When asked about their desire to record ‘Infinity Challenge’, the EXO members had nothing but praise for it. KAI and Sehun said, “We have been watching the show since 2007, and it has been worth the effort.”
The members then picked out whom they would like to be paired with for the show’s song festival. Baekhyun picked Yoo Jae Suk who is known for his love for dance tunes; Chanyeol picked Gil because he likes rap and hip-hop; D.O. picked out HaHa because they both weren’t tall to begin with; Sehun said Park Myung Soo is really funny, and anticipates working with him; Suho also picked Park Myung Soo because he thinks he is funny. Finally, KAI revealed that he hopes to bring home the trophy with Yoo Jae Suk, while he thinks HaHa would be a fun partner to have.
Meanwhile the members also revealed how they were touched by Jung Hyung Don’s actions previously. Suho explained, “We paid a sudden visit to a recording of ‘Infinity Challenge’, but Jung Hyung Don was able to remember the names of all 12 members’, and even introduced us to everyone. He not only remembers our names, but also the unique colour of each member.”
As for solo activities, Baekhyun said, “Only by raising the group’s profile, then only we can expect even better opportunities to develop our solo careers. If EXO achieves good results, we can still expect to have good backing and support even if we suffer setbacks in our solo activities.”
