Lee Kwang Soo really shone as the star in the latest episode (September 29th) of SBS TV ‘Running Man’, as he not only introduced his cool looking father, but also had the opportunity to meet one of his hot blooded female fan.
As one of the missions, the ‘Running Man’ members had to visit the furniture company where Lee Kwang Soo’s father was working. They were eventually able to get the hint from Lee Kwang Soo’s father after paying their respect, with Song Ji Hyo being the first to fish out the mission scrapbook hidden among the furniture.
During their interaction with Kwang Soo’s father, the members were really impressed with how cool he was, with Yoo Jae Suk especially lavishing praise on him. With his thick eyebrows, friendly outlook, and easy-going nature, Yoo Jae Suk said, “Lee Kwang Soo doesn’t resemble you in one bit, you look way cooler.”
Through the mission scrapbook, the members learnt that it was done up by a high school female student who was a huge man of the show. Through the photo clues left in the scrapbook, the members eventually traced it to the home of the student who was known as An Hye Mi. What surprised everyone was that Hye Mi was a huge fan of Lee Kwang Soo, with the latter’s photos, autograph, posters, ‘Giraffe’ dolls, and etc. littered all over her room.
Lee Kwang Soo couldn’t believe his eyes and said with a big smile, “Isn’t that me?” to which Song Ji Hyo said, “She must be a fan of Gwang Soo, and is very much in love with him.” Yoo Jae Suk couldn’t helped but feel gratified after seeing happiness etched all over Gwang Soo’s face.
As the program neared its conclusion, the members had completed missions like doing fan signings, doing rock climbing, and a race, as they seek to find Hye Mi. The members went from Hye Mi’s home to her high school as they seek to be the first to take a photo with Hye Mi and then pasting it onto a page in the scrapbook.
They eventually found Hye Mi in a classroom along with her friends. With her long black hair, neat bangs, and fair white skin, Hye Mi looked really adorable. When they realized that Gwang Soo was in the same classroom as them, Hye Mi and her friends couldn’t help but scream in joy.
Hye Mi then showed her affection for Kwang Soo as she pondered on how to let the latter win the game. At the very end however, Ji Suk Jin picked up the win which was his 1st solo win after 165 episodes of ‘Running Man’. Nevertheless, Kwang Soo still thanked Hye Mi for her support.
Lee Kwang Soo who recently became a true Korean Wave Star, saw his father being revealed on the show while also coming face-to-face with one of his hot blooded female fan. Kwang Soo’s innocent, passion, and warm-heartedness has certainly left a huge impression with viewers. It certainly makes one anticipate to see how Kwang Soo will build on this and become even more of a noticeable fixture in the upcoming episodes.
